BioI'm just another aging computer geek. I started out in math and science, but that quickly specialized into physics. Then I discovered computers, and everything else became a side interest, with my career direction clear.
I have mostly worked on computer language implementation (both interpreters and compilers, functional and logic programming), though I have done a lot of general utility and run-time library work. I like to think of every interface as a language; it helps the design come out clean and complete.
Hmm, what else would you want to know?
I used to be in the Society for Creative Anachronism, but work and child rearing took over too much time to continue.
I sing with an acappella group at work.
I spend too much time using the internet. But then, that's obvious, isn't it? I mean, I've got a livejournal account.
